Research Description
I am interested in developing biosensors for the enhancement of the enzymes leading to glucaric acid production in E. coli. In this I seek to use biological tools such as transcriptional regulation and directed evolution to search for improvements upon both multiple enzymes simultaneously and/or single enzymes individually.
